Terms of Service
By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing to SchoolFlow, or using any part of the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use SchoolFlow.
1. About SchoolFlow
SchoolFlow is a digital school management platform designed to help schools manage and organize school activities in one place.
Depending on the features available on your plan, SchoolFlow may provide tools for:
- Student management
- Teacher management
- Attendance
- Results and academic records
- Report cards
- Class management
- Timetables
- Announcements
- School fees and payment records
- School communication
- Student promotion
- Other school administration and management activities
SchoolFlow is a technology platform and does not replace the responsibilities of the school, its administrators, teachers, or other authorized personnel.
2. Eligibility
SchoolFlow is intended primarily for schools, educational institutions, school administrators, proprietors, principals, teachers, and other authorized users.
By using SchoolFlow, you confirm that:
- You have the authority to create or manage the school account.
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- You will use the platform only for lawful educational and administrative purposes.
- You will not knowingly provide false information or impersonate another person or institution.
3. School Account
A school may create an account through the SchoolFlow platform.
The school administrator or authorized account owner is responsible for:
- Keeping login credentials secure.
- Controlling who has access to the school account.
- Ensuring that only authorized staff use administrative features.
- Ensuring that information entered into the platform is accurate.
- Immediately notifying SchoolFlow if unauthorized access is suspected.
The school is responsible for activities performed through its account.
4. Free Trial
SchoolFlow may provide eligible schools with a 30-day free trial.
During the trial:
- The school may access the available SchoolFlow features.
- The trial period begins when the school account is activated.
- The trial is intended to allow the school to evaluate whether SchoolFlow meets its needs.
- Access to certain features may be restricted after the trial expires if the school does not subscribe.
SchoolFlow reserves the right to modify or discontinue trial availability where reasonably necessary.
5. Subscription and Fees
After the free trial, continued access to SchoolFlow's paid services requires an active subscription.
The standard SchoolFlow subscription is currently:
Subscription prices may change in the future. Where reasonably practicable, SchoolFlow will provide notice of significant pricing changes before they take effect.
Additional subscription periods may be available depending on the options provided on the platform.
6. Payments
Payments for SchoolFlow subscriptions may be processed through supported third-party payment providers.
SchoolFlow does not directly store customers' complete card details where payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider.
By making a payment, you authorize the applicable payment provider to process the transaction according to its terms and policies.
A subscription becomes active after successful payment confirmation by SchoolFlow or its payment provider.
7. Subscription Expiration and Suspension
If a school's subscription expires and is not renewed, access to paid features may be restricted or suspended.
SchoolFlow may also suspend or restrict an account where:
- The account is being used for unlawful activities.
- The user seriously violates these Terms.
- The account presents a security risk to the platform or other users.
- Payment-related issues remain unresolved.
- The platform is being deliberately abused or attacked.
Where appropriate, SchoolFlow may provide reasonable notice before suspension.
8. School Data and Information
Schools may enter information into SchoolFlow, including information relating to students, teachers, classes, attendance, results, fees, announcements, and other school activities.
The school remains responsible for the information it enters into the platform and must ensure that it has the appropriate authority and lawful basis to collect and use such information.
Schools should only provide information that is reasonably necessary for the use of SchoolFlow.
9. Personal Data and Privacy
SchoolFlow may process personal information in order to provide and maintain its services.
Such information may include account information, school information, user information, and educational or administrative information entered by authorized users.
SchoolFlow will take reasonable measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
Where applicable, the processing of personal data will be carried out in accordance with applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements and SchoolFlow's Privacy Policy.
Schools are responsible for ensuring that their own collection and use of personal information through SchoolFlow complies with applicable laws and their responsibilities toward students, parents, teachers, and other individuals.
10. Accuracy of School Records
Schools are responsible for checking information entered into SchoolFlow.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Student names
- Student results
- Attendance records
- Teacher information
- Class information
- Promotion records
- Announcements
- Other school records
SchoolFlow provides the technology for managing these records but does not independently verify the accuracy of information entered by schools.
11. Results and Academic Records
SchoolFlow may provide tools for entering, calculating, displaying, or managing student results.
Schools remain responsible for:
- Entering correct academic information.
- Reviewing results before publishing them.
- Correcting errors.
- Ensuring that published results comply with the school's academic policies.
SchoolFlow should not be treated as the final authority regarding the accuracy or validity of a school's academic records.
12. School Responsibilities
Schools using SchoolFlow agree to:
- Use the platform responsibly.
- Keep administrator and staff login information secure.
- Give users only the access they require.
- Avoid sharing passwords between users where individual accounts are available.
- Ensure that uploaded content is lawful and appropriate.
- Avoid uploading malicious software or harmful files.
- Respect the privacy and rights of students, teachers, staff, and other users.
- Verify important records before relying on them for official school decisions.
13. Prohibited Activities
Users must not use SchoolFlow to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation.
- Gain unauthorized access to another school's account or information.
- Attempt to bypass authentication or security controls.
- Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code.
- Attack, overload, or interfere with the platform.
- Attempt to reverse engineer or unlawfully copy SchoolFlow.
- Use another person's account without authorization.
- Upload unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, or otherwise prohibited material.
